This is an Advanced Fusing class. Intro to Fusing is required.

Saturday, November 1st 9am – 1pm
Ready to learn more about fused glass. Eric is ready to teach some of the techniques from the class he took with Narcissus Quagliata. This will be the first class in a series of classes. We will create a Stacker, and Lace that we will then use to create a small unique panel. All glass will be included in this class. Multiple firings will be include. Use of our saw and lap grinder.
Week one
- In depth talk about creating images in glass.
- Eric will show and discuss all his samples made in with Narcissus.
- Create a tile of lace. (frit fired)
- Create a stacker. (glass stacked and fired)
- Discussion on firing schedules. Shelf vs shelf paper.
Week two
- Discuss what was fired from first class.
- Eric will demonstrate different techniques in cutting the lace and stackers.
- Create a 8″x8″ unique panel using what we created.
- You will learn to use our tile saw and lap grinder.
