Fused Round Garden Stakes

Tuesday, April 30th, 6:30-8:30pm

In this Tuesday Night Class, you get to make an 8″ or a 10″ round to be installed into our new metal garden stakes. We will have patterns you may use or bring a design of your own. We will show you how to cut specific glass shapes or nip glass pieces to create your design.

Once you purchase your background color and clear base glass, we’ll show you how to cut them into a circle. Then, you will move on to cutting out or nipping your design elements from some fusible scrap glass we provide. Your panel may take 1-2 hours to complete depending on your glass cutting experience.

Class price is $85, includes any size garden stake (10″ or 8″), a $15 glass allowance, and 1 firing. Glass cost will depend on the the size of your stake and the colors you choose you will need to purchase 2- 9″ or 2- 11″ squares to make the base for this project. Glass is approximate $20-$25. Your garden stake will be a piece you can enjoy year round, Rain or Shine. We will fire your fused insert for you and they will be ready for pick up the following week.
