Playing with Powder (2 sessions)

Description

We will be creating a powder sculpture. Check the website for photos. This will require 2 session. Saturday, May 14 & Saturday, May 21st. Both classes are from 10-1pm. You will need an N-95 dust mask. We will have them for sale. You will also get to use our sandblaster in this class. The first class will be preparing our base, with a discussion on dust prevention, reactions, powder sifters, and shelf preparation. Class 2 will be finishing up on our sculpture, sand blast, & have firing schedule discussion. 2 day class $75 includes 2 – 8oz containers of powdered frit and 2 firings. .
